Lithuania Builds Massive New Camp for German Brigade, Fortifying NATO's Eastern Flank

Lithuania is rapidly constructing a major new military camp at its Rudninkai training area, strategically located just 20 kilometers from the Belarusian border. This significant development is designed to house the German Army's 45th Armoured Brigade, a permanent deployment of nearly 5,000 German troops and civilians, marking a historic shift in European defense.
