However, Russia's Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin has said Moscow would need to see concrete, constructive proposals that consider its interests first. Ukrainian intelligence, meanwhile, remains doubtful of any near-term peace deal, stating that Russia shows no signs of readiness for a ceasefire and aims to secure control of the Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts by year-end.
