Bengaluru-based Superleap, an AI-native customer relationship management (CRM) startup, has successfully bagged ₹36 crore, or about $3.8 million, in a pre-Series A funding round. This significant investment was led by Peak XV's Surge program, marking a fresh boost for India's booming enterprise tech sector and signaling strong investor confidence in AI-first solutions for businesses. The capital infusion is set to fuel Superleap ambitious plans to expand its presence across India and internationally, further refining its cutting-edge AI-based platform. Founded in 2024 by former Unacademy operators Subham Kumar Boundia, Alok Maurya, and Saurabh Maheshwari, Superleap aims to completely change how sales and revenue teams work by offering an AI-native alternative to older, traditional CRM systems. Unlike legacy platforms where AI is merely an add-on, Superleap system is built from the ground up with artificial intelligence at its core, enabling automatic data capture, self-updating records, and intelligent automation. The startup has already shown impressive growth, reporting a tenfold increase in its business over the last year and successfully helping major clients like Razorpay and Aakash Education migrate millions of customer records. The fresh funds will primarily target scaling Superleap go-to-market operations and enhancing its product capabilities, including its SuperOS, SuperSense, and SuperAgents modules. As India's CRM market is expected to reach $5.4 billion by 2034 with an 8.66% annual growth rate, Superleap is well-positioned to capture a large share by catering to the increasing demand for advanced, AI-driven solutions that simplify complex sales processes and improve customer engagement. This investment highlights the ongoing shift towards AI-first solutions in enterprise software and the growing importance of the Indian startup ecosystem on the global tech stage.
