Alongside this, the Chief Minister also inaugurated development projects worth a massive Rs 1,848 crore for the Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation, underscoring a broader push for infrastructure upgrades in the region. This latest rollout builds on an earlier deployment of 40 electric buses in Gandhinagar in June 2026, bringing the city closer to its allocated fleet of 100 e-buses under the national PM-eBus Sewa initiative.
