KEC International Secures ₹1,303 Crore Global Orders, Powering Up Infrastructure Growth

KEC International, an Indian infrastructure giant, has kicked off a strong Monday by bagging new orders worth a whopping ₹1,303 crore across its Transmission & Distribution (T&D) and Cables & Conductors businesses. These major contracts stretch across India, the Middle East, and the Americas, showing the company's growing reach and impact on global infrastructure. These wins are a big deal, especially for India's push towards better infrastructure and green energy. In Northern India, KEC will build a 400 kV transmission line to move electricity from a hydroelectric plant, helping connect clean power to homes and businesses. Meanwhile, in Saudi Arabia, the company is set to work on 380 kV transmission lines, fitting right into the Middle East's big plans to modernize its power sector and use more diverse energy sources beyond oil. These new orders push KEC's total year-to-date order intake for Financial Year 2027 past ₹7,600 crore, adding to an already strong overall Order Book of over ₹40,000 crore as of June 30, 2026. Looking ahead, KEC International Managing Director and CEO, Vimal Kejriwal, highlighted that these orders solidify their presence in key markets and keep the outlook for their T&D business very robust. With countries like India making huge investments in infrastructure—think roads, railways, and power grids—and the Middle East rapidly embracing renewable energy, the demand for KEC's expertise in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) is only set to grow. These new projects mean more work to connect power, support smart grids, and ensure electricity reaches everyone efficiently.
