Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has kicked off a major three-day tour in his Kuppam constituency, launching industrial projects worth a massive Rs 3,847 crore and securing additional investment agreements totaling Rs 1,026 crore. This significant push is set to create over 23,000 jobs, aiming to transform the region into a vibrant economic hub. The Chief Minister's agenda includes laying foundation stones for 12 new industries and inaugurating the Kuppam Industrial Cluster, marking a critical step towards regional development. The current spree of development initiatives aligns with Naidu's long-standing vision to position Andhra Pradesh as a top investment destination. Beyond just industries, his visit emphasizes a holistic approach, encompassing welfare programs like distributing DKT land pattas to farmers and handing over Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) houses. The focus extends to crucial infrastructure upgrades, including a new bus station and healthcare facilities, all aimed at improving the quality of life and strengthening the region's overall appeal for further growth. As the tour continues until July 5, more engagements are planned, including reviewing proposals from 28 additional industries that could bring in Rs 8,382 crore, signalling a robust pipeline of future investments. This aggressive development strategy in Kuppam, a key constituency, is seen as crucial for realizing the 'Swarna Kuppam Vision-2029' to make it a 'net-zero' zone and a model for sustainable industrial growth, reinforcing the state's broader economic revival under the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) government.
