Telangana Braces for Intense Downpour: IMD Issues Heavy Rain Alert for Nine Districts

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) Hyderabad has issued a two-day heavy rainfall warning for nine districts across Telangana, signaling a significant shift in the state's weather patterns. Beyond the heavy rainfall, the IMD also predicts strong surface winds, reaching speeds of 30-40 kmph, across all districts throughout the week. While other parts of Telangana may see light to moderate showers, the focus remains on the nine high-alert districts, where authorities and disaster management teams will need to be on high alert for potential flooding and disruptions until at least July 24.
