Uttar Pradesh Boosts School Child Monitoring with ₹6.55 Crore Digital System Upgrade

The Uttar Pradesh government has greenlit a significant ₹6.55 crore budget to supercharge its child monitoring system across all council schools for the 2026-27 academic year. This move aims to sharpen the tracking of student enrolment, academic progress, and overall school activities, making education more transparent and effective across the state. The funds are earmarked for beefing up the Management Information System (MIS), specifically U-DISE Plus, and the dedicated Child Tracking System. This latest allocation follows a broader push by the UP government, which dedicated a massive ₹77,622 crore to basic education in its 2026-27 budget, highlighting a clear intent for comprehensive reforms.
