This big win, announced today, involves a significant Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) project for an unnamed Indian thermal power generating company. The project is set to be finished by the financial year 2028, marking another important step in the country's clean energy journey. This new project highlights India's aggressive push towards its ambitious renewable energy goals, aiming for 500 GW of non-fossil fuel capacity by 2030. The Central Electricity Authority has projected a need for 208 GWh of Battery Energy Storage System by 2030 to support this transition.
