Zelensky Warns of Massive North Korean Troop Surge Into Russia's War

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky revealed Sunday that North Korea is preparing to send an additional 30,000 to 50,000 troops to bolster Russia war efforts in Ukraine. This marks a significant escalation in Pyongyang's military commitment to Moscow, building on earlier deployments that saw thousands of North Korean soldiers already engaging in combat. This looming troop surge follows prior deployments, with estimates indicating 10,000-15,000 North Korean forces were sent to Russia since late 2024, some of whom officially acknowledged participation in combat in Russia Kursk region by April 2025.
