Tripura is rapidly transforming its medical landscape, with Chief Minister Manik Saha spearheading a significant boost to medical education and healthcare infrastructure. The state has increased its MBBS seats to 500 for the 2026-27 academic session, with further plans to reach 550, and the long-awaited Tripura University of Health Sciences is set to begin operations, aiming to streamline medical training and research.
